On May 17, 2024, on the occasion of the 25th "World Metrology Day", the sixth China (Shanghai) International Metrology and Testing Technology and Equipment Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Metrology Expo") was grandly opened at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.

The total exhibition area of this expo is nearly 17,000 square meters, attracting more than 360 high-quality enterprises in the field of measurement, measurement technology institutions, service providers to participate in the exhibition, of which high-tech enterprises and "specialized new" enterprises accounted for more than 50% of the exhibitors; There are more than 1,500 varieties of exhibitors, mainly including various advanced measurement and testing technologies and equipment, intelligent testing systems and digital information management systems, and will provide platforms for technical exchange, production, university and research technology results release, results transfer and other platforms.

The expo lasts for three days, during the exhibition will also hold a number of seminars on "digital wisdom measurement to promote the development of high-end instruments", chronic disease prevention and food safety, smart "water meters, electricity meters, gas meters" measurement, high-end equipment measurement and testing development, as well as a number of public welfare activities of measurement science.
