Descriptions
Roll Chocks are one of the most important parts in hot rolling mill, cold rolling mill and foil rolling mill. Rolling Mills are used to reduce the thickness of steel/aluminum/copper bars and strips according to the request. Hot rolling Mills are sued for mass thickness reduction at high temperatures, whereas the cold rolling mills are used as further rolling to get higher precise sizes and mechanical properties. Roll chocks are accommodated the roll neck bearing for the mill rolls and transmit the rolling force from the housing to the rolls. The chocks are complicated mechanical parts with high precision, rigidity and sufficient strength.
Roll Chocks Types
According to the application and location in the mill, the rolls are generally categorized into 4 types.
1. Upper Work Roll Chock
2. Lower Work Roll Chock
3. Upper Back Up Roll Chock
4. Lower Back Up Roll Chock
Material
The Roll Chocks are manufactured by cast steel and forged steel. For the high strength and precision request in the cold mill and foil mill, the forged steel Roll chocks are preferred. Due to heavy weight and big size, the cast steel Back up Roll Chocks is more economics. We can meet both material request for our customers and also can recommend according to the drawings.

Melting---Casting—Forging—Annealing—Rough Machining—Ultrasonic Testing—Milling Machining—Stress Relieving—Finishing Machining—Final Inpection—Packing--Delivering
