Main Failure Reason of Roller Guider

1. Cooling System.

1.1 The pressure of cooling water shall keep a certain value (around 0.5 MPa). If the pressure is too high, the cooling water will be rebounded from the roller surface and the cooling is bad. If the water pressure is too low, the cooling could not destroy the steam film on the roller surface, the cooling also will be not good.

1.2 Water quality. If the cooling water quality is low. The impurity will make the rollers wear heavier and also the cooling is insufficient.

1.3 Cooling nozzle. The impurity in the water may block the cooling nozzle and make the cooling insufficient.

2. Lubrication System. The lubrication is primary for the roller bearings. If the lubrication is insufficient, the bearing will be not sealed well and the impurity may enter into the bearing. Once the roller ball is stuck by the impurity, the bearing will not work well and the bearing and guide will failure early.

1. Improve the quality of cooling water.

2. Ensure the purity of lubrication;

3. Strictly control well the rolling size on each stand;
